MediFlite allows for the efficient use of our infrastructure and our extensive experience in aeromedical services to deliver efficient and high-quality healthcare services across the State.

OUR PURPOSE
MediFlite is a joint venture between RFDS and LifeFlight to deliver
high-quality healthcare services to Queenslanders.
The RFDS and LifeFlight have worked together informally in the past – we share facilities at Bundaberg and Mount Isa and make use of each other’s medical staff on Retrieval Service Queensland coordinated flights when necessary.
Leveraging off the extensive, combined knowledge and expertise in aeromedical retrieval of both organisations, MediFlite continues the productive, positive and professional working relationships of these two iconic organisations.
Both organisations continue to operate independently of each other. The MediFlite joint venture, however, builds upon our strong, productive working relationship and allows us to formally work together on specific projects with our unique combination of expertise.
